USEFUL INFO FOR RACE DAY After the first race starts, you are kindly asked to refrain from crossing the road where the race takes place. We would advise you to either stay on the pedestrian path on the Club Siena side, or on the grassy field of Siena Park. Crossing the road will put the safety of the competitors at risk.
REGISTRATION AND BIKE SETUP Registration takes place from 07:00 to 08:00 a.m. in the middle of the grassy field of Siena Park. Each participant is kindly requested to go to the registration desk to confirm their presence and get registered. Our registration officials will write your race number on your arms and legs. There will be enough marker pens so that parents can help out. After registration please proceed to the area at the basketball court, where you can put your bicycle and running gear (according to number). After this you can return to the registration area and wait for your
group to be called to the swimming pool. LACK OF SPACE AT SIENA CLUB SWIMMING POOL Seeing as space in the swimming pool is limited (we do not have access to
the outside pool and the outdoor premises), you are kindly asked to follow our
instructions and keep inside the designated spectator or competitor areas, so
as to avoid a pile-up of people in strategic places.
RACE GEAR -
Swimsuit & goggles (swim cap is recommended). The youngest age
groupers are allowed to use a flotation device and/or protective clothing/shoes, but no propelling
device. - Road or mountain bike - Helmet (each competitor must wear a helmet during the bike leg) - Running & biking gear, sunglasses, sunscreen, water... Make sure that your bike is in good working order; any competitor with a bike deemed unsafe will not be allowed to start the race. Please ensure that the brakes are functioning properly.
