LANTAU BUFFALOS
SPRINT TRIATHLON TRAINING SESSION Sunday Nov. 7, 2010
Eleven
keen Buffalos came out today in support of our charity project and to
do some extra speed and race training. Distances were 250m swim - 150m
run - 250m swim - 200m run - 16k bike - 4k run. It was a tight race,
with everyone finishing within 15 minutes from one another.
Some
(unnamed) Buffalas are trying to prove that they are geographically
challenged, but we won't be convinced until it happens a third time in a
row. Others managed to be oblivious to the actual start of the swim,
then stroll along the beach for a chat, and make full use of the
sanitary amenities that Discovery Bay offers, all this in one and the
same short race. Hats off to that.
Results: Sieg: 54:58 Mike: 55:54 Justin: 57:07 Rebecca: 1:01:18 Kerry: 1:01:18 Nora: 1:04:21 Sarah: 1:04:22 Charlie: 1:04:28 Dana: 1:10:02 Erin: 1:10:28
Thanks to Kerry Hale for coming up with the idea.
Don't forget to sign up for the Queen & King of the Hill Race on December 18th, 2010 (see below).
